Impress Announces Change in Ownership

Canoga Park, CA—Impress Communications is pleased to announce a change in ownership. Impress partners have stepped down, and current Executive Director, Paul Marino has assumed sole ownership of Impress Communications.

Impress Communications is the largest commercial printer in the San Fernando Valley and specializes in an array of creative services including digital photography, graphic design, marketing and new media. The company has enjoyed consistent growth throughout its history and is currently ranked number 287 in Printing Impressions 400 Top Printers.

Departing partner, Marty Cooperstone comments, "I am proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to the growth of Impress Communications. Our well-established reputation, faithful client base and committed employees are the foundation of our success. Paul Marino's energy and enthusiasm have put Impress on the map and his hands-on responsiveness to client needs will directly benefit all of Impress' customers."

Joining the company as a partner in 1998, Paul Marino channeled his experience in publication-management and passion for technology into building Impress' award-winning Design and New Media Departments. In a time when most commercial printers were content to offer only traditional printing services, Paul's foresight in launching innovative services allowed clients to extend their branding seamlessly and economically, from one medium to the next. As Paul explains, "Assuming sole ownership of Impress is as tremendous an honor for me as it is a natural progression. As owner, I look forward to attracting new clients, expanding services to better meet their needs and streamlining operations to keep the company competitive, flexible and reactive to an ever-changing marketplace."

Paul's vision translates into an increased investment in technology. As part of a smart growth strategy, plans are in the works to expand the Press and Photography Departments, as well as offer the customized marketing services clients need to grow their own businesses. Impress will also be moving to a new facility optimized for the unique services the company provides.

There is no question that Paul's new role as sole owner has already influenced the company as Creative Director, Michelle Franks observes, "Paul has a very dynamic and direct personality, and has a way of motivating his employees to achieve more for clients and the company as a whole. The company's culture formerly emphasized the goals of each respective department. Now, with Paul at the helm, we are all working together as a team—to deliver innovative products and services that distinguish our clients in a competitive marketplace."

Paul concludes, "I look forward to building upon Impress' reputation as a creative services leader, and ushering in a new era marked by great changes and even greater opportunities for our clients. As technological advances allow our services to evolve, our commitment to our clients and our 'passion to perform' will always remain."
